Most of the credit for this top goes to Jamie. She came home from college on break and decided to make a quilt top over the break time. The only problem with that was that she was not really proficient in using the sewing machine and knew little about quilting, BUT she knew what she liked and she found these great fabrics that she loved and wanted to do something special with them. Together, we created this pattern and designed the top to fit the fabrics. The picture seems to be a little skewed, but I hope you get the jist. The light border fabric has faries on it. The green has an oriental flair. We "fussy cut" patterns from the green to use in the center block. She embroidered her sister's name and the date in the center block also.
