Like many of the other quilts you will see on this blog, the picture of this one is sideways. The white spaces you see are hand embroidered with pastel colors for a baby. The quilt is much more attractive in "real life" than in this picture. Although I'm not much of a fan of pastels and very light colors, the blocks are really nice looking if you see this quilt in person!
